THROWING ON THE WHEEL - ADVANCED TECHNIQUES If you have attended our IMPROVERS CLASS and are ready to move on to advanced techniques this is for you. In these classes you will hone your skills to a high level and learn how to finish your pots by turning the bases, and how to make jug and mug handles in a professional way. We can also approach using more 'difficult' clays such as porcelain. You will learn how to alter thrown shapes and join two thrown vessels together, and coil throwing. You need to bring an apron, not mind getting your hands and other bits covered in clay - and have a creative drive to learn.
