HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
If the item is in stock on the shelves we will post out the same day using signed for second class postage via Royal Mail which we will usually add to the cost of the item. Website orders have free postage.
If you’ve ordered one of our bespoke lampshades or cushions it will take about 2 to 3 weeks depending on the printing cycles – each item is printed exactly to your choice of size.
Website greetings card orders and tableware orders may take 10 days if not in stock.
CAN YOU KEEP THINGS BY FOR ME?
We are happy to save items once paid in full for collection or posting out at a later date. We can also keep your shopping for you if you are walking for the day. We can post things home for you too – to arrive after your holiday of course!
CAN I PAY IN INSTALLMENTS?
Yes – we will release the item once paid in full.
WHAT ARE THE GALLERY OPENING HOURS?
We open 10 – 4 in the winter Monday – Saturday and longer in the summer. Sunday trading never really caught on in St Just but you can request we open for you if you’re coming a long way to buy and we are around.
IS THE GALLERY ACCESSIBLE TO WHEEL CHAIR USERS?
There is a small step up into the gallery which is negotiable with help which we are happy to give.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED IN THE GALLERY?
Yes – we are very dog friendly. In the summer there is a bowl of water for your dog to enjoy.
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
Yes – but please be aware unruly children will be made into pastys and fed to the seagulls – and that goes for unruly adults too!!
CAN I EAT AND DRINK IN THE GALLERY?
We would prefer it if you didn’t – we especially don’t like the smell of pastys lingering.
DO YOU TAKE CARD PAYMENTS?
Yes we do (not American Express sorry). We have a minimum card spend of £5 and request cash for under this amount because of the extortionate card processing charges.
DO YOU TAKE WORK FROM OTHER ARTISTS?
Sometimes. We always like to see new artist’s work and are glad to look but we cannot always say yes.
IS THE GALLERY A COOPERATIVE?
No – we’re just really versatile.
ARE ALL THE ARTIST LOCAL?
90% is made in house by us – the rest is either local to Cornwall or from artists who come to Cornwall to paint. We do allow some really, really good makers who live in Devon to show with us…
WHERE DO I PARK?
There is free parking in the town car park but St Just is particularly well served by buses from Penzance and St Ives so a car may not be necessary. Have a look at www.tincoast.co.uk for more information on visiting the area.
