Jane Griffiths lives in St Just and is also a poet and lecturer. She paints memories of houses and landscapes using a variety of mixed media and techniques. We currently have a selection of her works on paper and collages – which are attracting considerable interest.
Although John lives in Derbyshire he is often in Cornwall depicting the West Penwith and Scilly landscape in his particular style. He is especially gifted at portraying the light on the sea.
Nick now lives in Northumberland but has long been inspired by the landscape of West Cornwall. He uses a mixed media style to great effect and we exhibit some of his smaller paintings.
Tim’s style is unfussy and direct and he is gaining quite a following for his jewel like paintings of St Ives and Cape Cornwall.
Michael is a new addition to the gallery and has exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and a number of prestigeous London Galleries as well as being a professional actor who has worked in the West End and at the RSC. He paints en plein air, aiming for a sense of place and features our amazing West Penwith Coastline.
Eliza has a reputation for painting cats and dogs in a naive and charming style allowing the personality of the animal to shine through. Many of her paintings are available as greetings cards in the gallery and online. She has been know to paint the West Penwith landscape too, from time to time.
