MAKE A COPPER FOIL BUBBLE GLASS PENDANT
You will learn how to cut and fuse your own pendant and how to add the turquoise bubble to it. We use a microwave kiln for this class. You will be taught how to cut and shape the glass and then how to finish the pendant off using the copper foiling technique used in stained glass making. We will explore making different shapes but often the kiln will ultimately decide on the outcome so please be prepared for the unexpected.

In this workshop you will learn the copper foiling techniqe that is usually used in stained glass to form a precious find of seaglass or sea pottery into a wearable pendant.
You are welcome to bring a piece or two you have found yourself of choose from our collection here.
MAKE A SMALL STAINED GLASS SUNCATCHER
As an introduction to stained glass this course will offer tuition in how to make a small stained glass suncatcher of simple design using offcuts of glass we have in the studio. The copperfoiling technique will be taught as well as how to cut and shape the glass to size. You will be taught to solder the pieces together neatly and shown how to add a suitable mount for hanging.
The maximum size of suncatcher is 10 cms in this class to ensure there are enough raw materials for everyone to use.
