tHROWING ON THE WHEEL - BEGINNERS Have you always wanted to learn to throw pots on the wheel? Have you been glued to The Great Pottery Throwdown and wondered if you could do it too? Well now you can try it out and progress at your own speed in a class of 2 people. This gives ample time for indivicual tuition and for progression at your own pace. You will learn the essential starting techniques of centering the clay and raising the walls of the vessel. You can practice at your own pace in a supportive environment. There is no pressure at all and don't worry if you can't do it first time - after a few classes you will be really pleased with the results. We will start small and grow with you. You need to bring an apron, not mind getting your hands and other bits covered in clay - and have a creative drive to learn.
